The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is set to roll out AI 150 – Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence for All this semester, a self-paced undergraduate course aimed at equipping students with essential artificial intelligence skills for the future of work, study and society.
The fully online course is open to all KNUST undergraduates and requires no prior background in artificial intelligence or computer programming, making it accessible to students across all academic disciplines.
AI 150 is coordinated by the University’s Coordinating Office for AI Courses as part of KNUST’s broader strategy to promote AI literacy, responsible innovation and the ethical use of emerging technologies.
The course introduces students to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, its practical applications and responsible use, in line with the University’s goal of preparing graduates to thrive in an increasingly digital and AI-driven global environment.
